Offline installation tool of inner cone relative to outer cone Cone Adjuster (C-Shape spanner) Cone(s) Extraction tool

3 Make template and define axis system as shown, for both INFN and SLAC
*In bay, looking outward: 90 degrees will be at –Z 270 degrees will be at +Z Template to be placed over Flexure Mount and around cones, with handle at –Z. Grid Simulator Concept Template Due to visibility, measurement reading, to be taken from 0 to 180. 90 +X +Y 180 270 +Z

4 Flexure/Cone positions
+Y, +x +X, +y +X,+Y (reference location) Grid Simulator +Y,-x +X,-y +Y +X -X,+Y +X,-Y (reference location) +Z -X, +y -Y, +x -Y,+x designates the stud on the + x side of the flexure which is on located on the –Y axis -Y,-x -X, -Y (reference location) -X,-y

5 Positioning of Adjusting Cones
For reference locations: +X +Y, +X –Y, –X –Y, and remaining 9 studs *Determine position for wide slot and narrow slot for outer and inner adjusting cones, relative to template. Narrow Slots Wide Slots
