1
The Siberian Tiger Endangered Species
2
Siberian Tiger - Facts Average weight of kg (490 lb) for males, and kg (260 lb) for females Litter size is normally two or four cubs but there can be as many as six An adult Siberian tiger will happily gulp down 50 kilograms of meat in a day (9 kg necessary to survive)
3
Why are they endangered?
The main reason is that humans (over-)hunt them for their valuable furs Siberian tigers require vast forest landscapes to survive; so logging fragments their habitat and separates the tigers from one another
4
Conservation Efforts Humans protect the Siberian Tigers by disallowing tiger hunting Logging can be disallowed for the regions that the tigers occupy
5
Why should we save them? We humans caused their endangerment, which deems us responsible to remove them from this status If the tigers become extinct, the species under them in the food chain will no longer be controlled
6
In Conclusion... By harming the tigers we harm ourselves, and this applies to all other species We have to care for the world and environment around us for it to care for us
7
The End Thanks for Watching
