2. AR Website and Logging In Student Directions
You should have an AR/STAR Icon on your desktop – If you do not, please put a work order in to get one installed. (star.bcschools.net)
Click on Student
Click on Find User Name (it will be in Blue)
Search under last name
Click on your name
Password for all students is ABC

3. Searching for a Quiz And taking a Quiz
Student must log in
Click on “Take a Quiz
There are four different types of quizzes student can take.
Reading Practice – Library books
Vocabulary Quiz – Many books have vocabulary quizzes attached to them
Literacy Skills Quiz – The literacy Skill booklets that go with Treasures
Other Reading Practice Quiz – The Treasure story of the week
You search for a quiz the same in all areas
You can search for a quiz by Title, Author or Quiz Number
For now, it is easiest to search by title, but click on the button “contains” for a larger search
Click on the title of the book, verify quiz
Select how the book was enjoyed, read to, read with or read independently
Do a final check and press Yes
Begin Quiz

4. Problems that May Arise
Student Locked Out:
Log into program as teacher/administrator
Go to personnel, students, and parents
Click on clear locked students
-Program asks for monitor password:
Password: ADMIN (not to be given out to students)
