2 Figure 1 Profile Plots of Body Mass Index by Age for CC and CT or TT Genotypes in FHS and CAMP These plots are presented for the two longitudinal studies that we have, FHS and CAMP. The left panel illustrates an initial increase in body mass index (BMI) for the CC genotype that diminishes by age 30 in the FHS. After age 8, the right panel also illustrates an increase in BMI associated with the CC genotype in CAMP. Prior to this age, our sample is limited in size, which is illustrated by the initial cross in genotypes.
