Who are SAAS & SLC? Take a note of this, as you will need to quote it if and when you contact SAAS After completing your online F. T. funding application, your unique SAAS number will be generated. SAAS - Government organisation which assesses each student’s funding application for fee eligibility, YS & IS bursary support and student loan entitlement. You can apply to SAAS for both Full-time and Part-time funding. Your fees are not paid automatically when you accept a place on the course. You must apply to us to have your fees paid straight to the college or university in each year of your course. Studying elsewhere in the UK - you pay your own fees -> £9,250. if you meet the eligibility conditions you can choose to take a tuition fee loan to pay your fees. SAAS assess you and your award. If you do receive a YS or IS bursary you don’t repay this funding element back. The SLC pay your loan and will monitor your loan repayment after graduation, via your National Insurance Number.
