Faculty scrutiny University scrutiny (aka validation event) formal University approval (by event chair then QSC) now: strategic approval academic design confirmation and university approval (still with an event)

Business case approval
initial idea comes from Portfolio Group or School business case covers: link to YSJU strategies (“how it fits”) UK HE sector data 2 paragraphs for applicants (why study at YSJU; distinctiveness) resources outcomes defined resource envelope metadata about the programme (aka “programme header”) neither can be changed unless approved by DVC
