US Constitution-didn’t mention guaranteed rights of the people=drawback.
Wanted written proof the people would have freedom of speech, press, religion, right to trial by jury, and bear arms.
Due to large demand, a Bill of Rights was added after the Constitution was ratified.
THE CONSTITUTION WAS RATIFIED IN 1788 BY A VOTE 30 TO 27.
