Possible Answers
Federalists were for the Constitution and a strong central government. They thought that the Constitution took care of all of the weaknesses that had existed in the Articles of Confederation.
Antifederalists were opposed to the Constitution for three main reasons :
They thought the President would become “kinglike”.
They felt the states would have less power and be weakened by it.
The Constitution did not guarantee peoples individual rights and liberties without a Bill of Rights added.
