2. mMS Factory 4.0 (Modular Mechatronics System Factory 4.0) The mMS 4.0 training system – a complete Industry 4.0 system in miniature. The system addresses a real-life cube assembly, from the removal out of a rack to processing with a pressing machine, and through to storage in a high-bay warehouse. Assembled from standard components. Completely interconnected, programmable and extensively secured. Cells can be flexibly added to the system, such as a 6-axis jointed-arm robot. The entire system or individual stations are shipped fully assembled, installed, and programmed. You can get started right away.

3. i4.0 Upgrade Kit The i4.0 Upgrade Kit connects existing machines, modules or lines without sufficient connectivity to Industry 4.0 topologies. Their data can be automatically processed in superordinated systems and can be used for condition monitoring and data mining purposes. The implementation does not require any modifications of the existing automation solution. The web-based configuration of the i4.0 Upgrade Kit can be carried out without any specific programming skills.

4. MICRO ELECTRO MECHANICAL SYSTEM (MEMS) BOSCH XDK IoT toolkit Experience the XDK Node, the universal programmable sensor device packed with state of the art sensor technology and ready-to-use software packages, capable of fulfilling all your IoT application needs. Why XDK? Built for Bosch Connected Devices and Solutions to create IoT products, XDK has evolved continuously and is not only a prototyping platform but also a sensor node solution. So we thought why not offer this powerful tool to others.

FESTO – Mechatronics Training System 6. MPS® System 203 I4.0 The MPS203 I4.0 system is a modular production line comprising distribution/conveyor, joining and sorting stations. The entire system is networked and additionally equipped with several RFID write/ read heads. The system processes work orders which have been generated by the MES. A workpiece is separated in the first station and data is then written to its memory by an RFID sensor. The subsequent joining station reads the RFID tag and decides what to do with the workpiece depending on the work order, and then writes the result to the tag. At the final sorting station, the work pieces are distributed to the three chutes depending on the information which has been saved to the RFID tag

FESTO – i4.0 Factory Automation 7. CP Factory - The Cyber-Physical Factory CP Factory (Cyber-Physical Factory) reflects the new developments in Industry 4.0 network production and offers a modular Smart Factory system for teaching and research purposes. CP Factory illustrates the practical implementation of a networked factory and can be used to represent the entire value chain. Benefits Motivating, practical project exercises Industry 4.0 relevant training topics, such as RFID, NFC and cloud computing Step-by-step introduction of CPS Versatility demonstrated by the autonomous Robotino® Flexible robot cells with cameras to industry standard Solid introduction to reliable machine networking

OMRON NJ Series PLC 8. NJDB PLC Scalable and easy programming of any type of robots: When building conveyor tracking applications, you can program Pick & Place control systems by using the same program structure in the same programming manner regardless of the robot type: parallel, Cartesian, or SCARA robot. The NJ Robotics controller integrates machine control and robot control, bringing new flexibility to build machines

FANUC FIELD SYSTEM 9. Fanuc FIELD System for IOT FANUC’s open platform system gives machine tool builders, robot manufacturers, sensor and peripheral device manufacturers the freedom to develop their own applications. The target of the FIELD system is connecting each device within a factory, but also allowing flexibility to connect to upper host systems such as ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning), SCM (Supply Chain Management) and MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems). FANUC has already realised some applications such as LINKi and ZDT and it has developed concepts for machine learning as well as deep learning inspection.

BECKHOFF I4.0 Ready 10. TWINCAT 3 PROGRAMMING & IOT Beckhoff provides the foundational technologies and tools needed today to implement Industrie 4.0 concepts and Internet of Things (IoT) connectivity, all via PC-based control. TwinCAT engineering and control software packages are available for the creation of applications such as Big Data, pattern recognition as well as condition or power monitoring, in addition to traditional control tasks – which can sustainably increase production and engineering efficiency as a result. TwinCAT IoT is quick and easy to configure and, together with an Industrial PC or Embedded PC as the IoT controller, establishes a seamless connection between the Internet of Things and the Internet of Services.
