13 How can I prepare? High School Classes –Math: algebra & geometry –Communications Skills: written & oral communication classes –Shop/Tech Ed: woods, metals, construction classes –Just taking the course isnt good enough, a C or better is needed.

14 Apprenticeship Requirements Entrance Test (Accuplacer or TABE)* C of better in algebra** High School Transcripts or GED Drivers License (or means to get to work) *Test is not required for Concrete Finishing, Heavy Equipment, & Roofing. **Algebra is only required for Electronic Systems Technician and Electrical
