2 EASA FTL - Flight Time Limitations Commercial Air Transport with Aeroplanes
Regulation 83/2014, dated , was published in the Official Journal (OJ) January 2014, into force 20 February Shall be applied from 18 February EASA decides and publishes CS, AMC & GM.

3 Trafi(CAA Finland) has decided that Finnish operators with an AOC for Commercial Air Transport with Aeroplanes Shall apply from 15 September until 15 November 2015 with complete documentation for a transition to EASA FTL including: Revised OM-A chapter 7 with EASA FTL Training of managers, crew planners, pilots & cabin crew Training programs (incl. contents/tests) and methods Trafi to complete reviewing applications be latest by 30 December 2015 Transition to EASA FTL latest on 18 February 2016

4 Early Type vs. Late Type disruptive schedule
Regulation 83/2014 contains an Authority requirement: ARO.OPS.230 Determination of disruptive schedules For the purpose of flight time limitations, the competent authority shall determine, in accordance with the definitions of “early type” and “late type” of disruptive schedules in point ORO.FTL.105 of Annex III, which of those two types of disruptive schedules shall apply to all CAT operators under its oversight.” The Finnish Transportation Safety AgencyTrafi has decided to apply “early type” for all CAT operators under its oversight.

5 Key steps Trafi will issue FTL & FRM Compliance check lists to be used for application process in September 2015 A questionnaire on FRM implementation will be sent to operators in September Web page containing information and links dedicated to FTL issues to be published on Trafi website, September
