2. Early Years
Ponce de Leon was born in spain April He became an explorer after he was a soldier.
He married a wonderful lady named Lenora de Leon. He had a lot of children I’m only naming two. Luis, and Juana

3. Years of exploration
Juan Ponce de Leon explored Puerto Rico because it was nearby. He found Florida too.
He came home in to colonize. He got attacked by native americans and died.

4. Later Years
After he discovered Florida he came back to Spain. He wanted to return to Florida to build a settlement
The native Floridians wounded him when he tried to grow crops. Then he was taken to Cuba. Then he died.

5. Legacy
First off, there is a Juan Ponce de Leon hotel in San Juan. There is also a statue of him in St. Augustine
He found proved that there was no fountain of youth.
He found Florida (which is an amazing place).
