What is a SWPPP? Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan A SWPPP is a detailed plan that: Identifies sources of stormwater pollution. Identifies sources of stormwater pollution. Why Do You Have to Prepare a SWPPP? The CGP (SC NPDES #SCR100000) requires all large and small construction activities discharging to surface waters of the State or to a MS4 to develop a SWPPP to maximize the potential benefits of pollution prevention and sediment and erosion control measures at a construction site.
