6. Sin Is: Sin is a violation of the conscience –
Romans 14:23 whatever is not from faith is sin. 
Sin is knowing to do good and not doing it – James 4:17 know the right thing to do and does not do it, to him it is sin. 
Sin is a violation or breaking of God’s law – John 3:4 sin is lawlessness. 
Sin is a failure to keep God’s commands – John 5:17 All unrighteousness is sin
