A humorous image, video, piece of text, etc. that is copied (often with slight variations) and spread rapidly by Internet users.

5 Using what you now know about copyright and fair use, find a picture that you can use to create a meme. Your meme must be about something you have learned technology class: Word processing, making slide shows, using graphics, Google Drive, Copyright, etc

6 Where did you get your picture? Did you give the author credit?
You must tell me Where did you get your picture? Did you give the author credit? Why you are able to use this image? Did you get it from a public domain site? Is it your own picture that you took?

7 Your meme must be appropriate
Your meme must be appropriate. Keep your AUP in mind when creating a meme.

8 Directions: Open the Google Drawings template in Google Classroom. Get a picture that fills the drawing canvas. See options below: *Check out *Use the insert menu to insert an image. *Choose “Take a snapshot” to insert by webcam *Choose “Search” to insert creative commons images Add Text! Make sure the text is really legible against the image! Play with your font colors and fonts. The font should not get lost on the meme.

9 After you have finished creating your meme, use the space to left of image to type your answers.

10 When you are finished, download your meme as PNG file
