-Make a large version of one Asian country’s flag. In different sections of the flag label that country’s physical (mountains, rivers, lakes etc) and human features (towns and cities etc). You could also include some images.

Produce a factsheet for one Asian country that includes facts about the bullet points above. OR
Make a travel guide for one Asian country so that a tourist could experience all of the bullet points above.
Imagine you have been on holiday to an Asian country. Write a one week diary of all the experiences you had on your holiday (include experiences that cover the bullet points above.
Suggest reasons why places are different
Make a comparison table to show the difference between two Asian countries and use this to write at least three comparisons (use connective such as but, whereas, however between your descriptions). Explain the differences. OR
For two Asian countries, make two top trump cards with at least 5 categories of information. Use these to write a detailed comparison of the two Asian countries. Explain the differences.
Use the CIA fact book website to write a detailed comparison of two Asian countries (include facts and figures in your answer) and suggest reasons for the differences. Explain the differences.
Demonstrate your own ideas and opinions:
Using research, suggest how one Asian country could improve its people’s standard of living and quality of life. You may just want to focus on one area such as the Dharavi slums. OR
Using research, write a report describing and explaining how an Asian country has been affected by a recent natural event (e.g. cyclone, floods, droughts, tsunami) and suggest how it can reduce the effects of this natural event in the future.
Write a report outlining the effects of climate change on one Asian country. Using research, suggest how this country might cope with these effects in the future and any actions they may consider taking. Explain your suggestions.
