SCQI Program Supplier Publicity Guidelines General Guidelines/Requirements
Intel’s intent is to have the SCQI, PQS and Achievement awards highly publicized while ensuring the content relates only to the winning of the award and the circumstances allowing it to occur. SCQI, PQS and Achievement winners may internally disclose the fact they have won an award using any form of internal publication so long as this disclosure/information remains within their company until after Intel’s announcement March 7, No supplier has Intel’s permission to release any information pertaining to any award win or recognition outside of the Non-disclosure Agreement (NDA), Supplier Publicity & Confidentiality Program (SPCP) or these published guidelines. SCQI Program Supplier Publicity Guidelines Restrictions
SCQI, PQS and Achievement award winners may not release any information externally prior to Intel’s press release and/or advertising media. After Intel’s Newsbyte release on March 7, 2018: When asked by the news media or other customers, suppliers may only acknowledge their award win and discuss their quality performance and accomplishments leading to their award. Suppliers may not reference details of the business relationship or the specific good or service that they are supplying to Intel. It is never permitted for a supplier to disclose what they are selling to Intel, volumes, prices, etc. All information regarding the details of the business relationship is considered confidential. SCQI Award Win Recognition Type Method Approval/Restrictions
Marketing assets issued by Intel SCQI winners may advertise their win using the assets provided to the winning supplier. Usage guidelines identify and outline use per each asset. Electronic assets may be used on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn Approval not required within usage guidelines Additional Advertising SCQI winners may externally advertise their win using their own advertising assets with Intel approval. Approval required Intel Award Newsbyte Newsbyte issued by Intel. Suppliers may link freely to the newsbyte from their website to Intel’s website; no other use of the newsbyte is allowed. Not allowed for reuse, must always link to Intel site Intel Executive Quote Intel will provide an approved, executive quote that can be used by the winning supplier. SCQI supplier can use on websites or in other approved marketing collateral, i.e. Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, marketing literature and newspapers at it’s discretion. Reuse of the Executive Quote in an earnings release or stockholder report is allowed but requires Intel approval. Companies can also create Facebook or LinkedIn posts using the copy provided by Intel, customized with their name. Earnings Release/ Stockholder report – approval required Webpage/Facebook/Twitter/LinkedIn Post Language For use on supplier websites, informal s to supplier press contacts, and non-character limited social media posts. Other acceptable media for these pages are photos from the awards event, and awards graphics supplied by Intel. Template provided to create generic supplier press release. The hashtag for any who wish to use it is #IntelSCQI Approval not required Trophy SCQI winners may display their trophy outside of their site(s) Allowed externally Intel Provided Trophy Image SCQI winners may display the SCQI trophy image on supplier controlled internet and intranet sites (including Facebook and Twitter) and/or annual report. Year of the award must accompany image. PQS Award Win Recognition Type Method Approval/Restrictions
Marketing assets issued by Intel PQS winners may advertise their win using assets provided to the winning supplier Press Relations contact. Usage guidelines identify and outline use per each asset. Electronic assets may be used on Facebook and Twitter. Approval not required within usage guidelines Intel Newsbyte Newsbyte issued by Intel. Suppliers may use freely by using the link to the Newsbyte from their website to Intel’s website; no other use of this newsbyte is allowed. Not allowed for reuse, must always link to the Intel website. Intel Executive Quote Intel will provide an approved, Executive quote that can be used by the winning supplier. PQS supplier can use on digital media: Facebook and LinkedIn, marketing literature and newspapers at it’s discretion. Reuse of the Executive Quote in an earnings release or stockholder report is allowed but requires Intel approval. Companies can also create Facebook or LinkedIn posts using the copy provided by Intel, customized with their name and should not modify the text provided by Intel except to add their name where indicated Earnings Release/ Stockholder report – approval required. Achievement Award Win Recognition Type Method Approval/Restrictions
Intel Press Release/ Business Wire Press release issued by Intel. Suppliers may reference their win on supplier controlled internet and intranet sites (including Facebook and Twitter) and/or annual report. The following verbiage must be used to reference the win that would point/ link* to Intel’s press release; no other use of this press release is allowed. Approved verbiage: Recognized by Intel as a 2017 Achievement Award winner for __________. (specific achievement as defined by the SCQI Program office here). Not allowed for reuse Trophy Achievement winners may only display their trophy inside their site(s). Not allowed externally Intel Confidential

SCQI Program – Approval Flow
Approvals are needed for: Advertising externally (SCQI only)* Intel requests that advertising remain in good taste and is appropriate to an award win of this nature. Executive Quote for reuse for Earnings Release (SCQI and PQS only) *In cases where a supplier wants to disclose Intel’s name or use brand, a waiver is required. In some cases, additional requests need to be made to Corporate Brand ID. Please work with your Intel contact to start the waiver process if applicable. Approval is coordinated by the SCQI Program Office send requests to: or Expect 3-5 working days for final approval. The waiver must be submitted by the supplier’s Intel contact. Intel Confidential
