BUDDY up – new students always give them a student buddy so they can start to integrate and feel welcome in the class Try to make every lesson a great experience, ask how you can add variety and consistency of quality to your classes. Potential leavers once identified (by you – not publically) need a bit more attention, ask if they are ok, do they need help? Can they be assigned an assistant to help them? Potential levers are identified by: Multiple absences in a row Not participating and distancing themselves from the general class
