1. Student NCEdcloud Account
This will be used to access Powerschool Student Portal, SchoolNet, Canvas, etc.

2. Go to the NCEdcloud Homepage
my.ncedcloud.org or
cms.k12.nc.us
click student portal
click NCEdcloud

3. Click “Claim my account”
Select “LEA Student Claim Policy”

4. Enter your Student ID #, Grade, Birthday (YYYYMMDD) and 600 for the LEA Code
Click “I’m not a robot”
600

5. Create your password: For CHMS Students: Cm$MMDDYYYY For example: Cm$10021992

6. Must answer 5 challenge questions

7. Now try logging in
After successfully claiming your account, close all windows.
You can now log back into NCEdcloud using my.ncedcloud.org or going through the Student Portal page on the CMS Website.
