HEAT PUMP A heat pump is a device that transfers heat energy from a heat source to a heat sink against a temperature gradient. Heat pumps are designed to move thermal energy opposite to the direction of spontaneous heat flow.thermal energy

HEAT PUMP Most people think that heat pump is a new term. While compressor-driven air conditioners and freezers are familiar examples of heat pumps.

HEAT PUMP When a heat pump is used for heating, it employs the same basic refrigeration-type cycle used by an air conditioner or a refrigerator but in the opposite direction, releasing heat into the conditioned space rather than the surrounding environment. In this use, heat pumps generally draw heat from the cooler external air or from the ground.

HYDROGEN Hydrogen is the first element on the periodic table, making it the lightest element on earth. Since hydrogen gas is so light, it rises in the atmosphere and is therefore rarely found in its pure form, H2.[1] In a flame of pure hydrogen gas, burning in air, the hydrogen (H2) reacts with oxygen (O2) to form water (H2O) and releases heat.

HYDROGEN In many ways, hydrogen is the perfect fuel. It is abundant, the most efficient and produces no emissions when used in a fuel cell. It's non-toxic, can be produced from renewable resources and is not a greenhouse gas.

HYDROGEN It's been noted in numerous studies that hydrogen may be the only alternative fuel that can simultaneously reduce a country's dependence on foreign oil and significantly reduce greenhouse gases.
