Businesses of the Federal Government Today, there exist 60 government corporations TVA, FDIC, USPS Organized like private businesses Board of directors and Executive Officers More flexible of the agencies

22 Regulatory Commissions
Independent of the three branches of the national government Consist of 5 to 11 commissioners appointed by President and confirmed by the Senate Commissioners do not report to the President and cannot be fired by the president
