NEW JERSEY STATEWIDE ASSESSMENT PROGRAM
2017 marks the 3rd administration of the Partnership for Assessment of Readiness for College and Careers (PARCC) and the 12th year of the ASK 4, ASK 8, and Biology test (NJBCT) Students took the PARCC English Language Arts and Literacy Assessments (ELA/L) in grades 3-11 Students took PARCC Mathematics Assessments in grades 3-8 and “End of Course” Assessments in Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II Students took the ASK 4, ASK 8, and NJBCT (all students taking Biology)

Opt-out students for the 2015 PARCC testing: 398 Clarendon - 21 Huber - 40 Middle - 51 High - 286 Opt-out students for the 2016 PARCC testing: 75 Clarendon - 19 Huber - 18 Middle - 7 High - 31 Opt-out students for the 2017 PARCC testing: 17 Clarendon - 5 Huber - 5 Middle - 4 High - 3

TEST RESULTS ANALYSIS The following slides provide a three-year comparison of percent proficiency among students in the state, PARCC states or DFG, and district for each test For PARCC assessments, the percentages ≥ Level 4 Met or Exceeded Expectations For ASK 4, ASK 8, and the NJBCT, the percentages are a combination of Proficient and Advanced Proficient

WHAT’S NEXT? The director of curriculum has shared and discussed results with principals and supervisors Teachers will be provided with their respective data and work with their supervisor to devise a “plan of action” going forward (already in progress) PARCC Data analysis of the “District Evidence Statement Analysis” for each test will potentially restructure curriculum and instruction
