Digital Partner of Record
Digital Partner of Record (DPOR) automates how partners are attached as the Partner of Record for the subscriptions you are actively managing for customers for Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online, AX7, Microsoft Intune, Enterprise Mobility Suite (EMS) and Microsoft Azure.

Benefits
DPOR is an online capability by which partners are attached as the Partner of Record on customer administered Microsoft Office 365, CRM Online, AX7, Intune, Enterprise Mobility Suite (EMS) PowerBI and Azure subscriptions. Customers can designate partners as their Partner of Record for subscriptions they are helping deploy, or for solutions they are helping design, build or manage for with these services.
DPOR improves the partner and customer experience, reduces cost of doing business with Microsoft.
Partners benefit because it allows them to qualify for MPN cloud competencies, allows them to earn incentives and enables reporting that provides a single view into the revenue, usage, and consumption driven by them. This insight can also be leveraged for cross-sell/upsell opportunities, and allows partners to proactively engage customers to optimize customer cloud purchase and usage/consumption.
Customers benefit because it provides their partner with access to performance and usage data so you can provide better service to them and help optimize their usage for the desired business outcome.

3. Frequently asked questions
Who is a Digital Partner of Record (DPOR)?
The Partner of Record for Office 365, Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online, Dynamics 365, AX7, Windows Intune, Enterprise Mobility Suite, and Microsoft Azure subscriptions is the partner who is helping the customer design, build, deploy or manage a solution that they’ve built on the service. 
It is not the partner who sold the subscription.
When should customers add their DPOR?
Encourage your customers to attach a Partner of Record to their subscriptions immediately to make sure you qualify for MPN cloud competencies, and have access to business-critical reporting.

After you assign a Partner of Record, the partner will receive an notification that lets them know that you have assigned, changed or removed your Partner of Record. 9

To change or remove your Partner of Record:
Following the steps outlined above, log into the Office 365 admin center at
On the Partner information local pane, the Partner of Record ID assigned to your subscription will be shown. Click the “X” inside of the field to remove it.
Click Submit. You have now removed the Partner of Record for this account and your subscription no longer has a Partner of Record.
If you wish, you may then add a new Partner of Record by entering the Partner ID in the field and clicking Check ID. 2

Insert MPN ID of the Partner you wish to add as DPOR and Click on ‘validate ID’
The name of the partner you are adding as DPOR will appear on the UI, Click ‘save partner’

Log into account.azure.com
On the Summary Subscription Page, click on Partner Information on the right navigation.
Highlight the Partner of Record field and delete the Partner of Record shown in that field.
Click the check box.
You have now removed the Partner of Record for this account and your subscription no longer has a Partner of Record
You can now add a new partner
From portal.azure.com
Log into portal.azure.com
In ‘Partner Information’ screen you will see a “delete” icon beside the partner name.
Click on the icon
You will be asked if you are sure you want to remove current partner information
Click yes
You will get confirmation that the partner information has been removed

Identify subscription GUID and partner MPN ID that need to be associated
Enter both IDs into the below URL format
the URL to the subscription admin or subscription contributor
Subscription Admin or Subscription Contributor click on the link and are brought to the following page
The partner ID has already been entered and validated
