No television at all, except one hour/day of pleasure viewing, mystery or real sports ( e.g. World Cup). No reading of books, except The Great Books or fiction/ pleasure reading before bed. No web surfing at work except as required to complete an assigned task. Listening to classical music is alright any time. Performing light exercise and meditation. Spend at least 4 hours a day out of doors. Diagnostic: am I learning every day—or just reading/listening/watching a stream of information or entertainment
