P: So for today’s webinar, we are going to talk about two very exciting Vendasta product enhancements that were released this week and Megan is here to walk us through those enhancements and field any questions. The online world has disrupted the traditional way customers discovered businesses and has created a new buyer’s journey but the good news is...Vendasta has products to help your client’s rock every step! I’ll just take some time to explain and review how this new buyer’s journey works. So first, a buyer becomes aware of your business. This is typically due to either some type advertising effort. Maybe a TV and radio ad, or through a Facebook or search campaign. If successful, the buyer has become aware of your business and you have sparked their interest. Now that you have their attention, they may be motivated to try and look you up. In today’s world, this means doing something like searching for you on Google. Best case scenario is they find you! Maybe they stumbled across your Google listing, or in some sort of online business directory. The next stage is where digital has changed the game. Customers have the ability to RESEARCH. So finding you may be step one, but now they have endless amounts of data at their fingertips. This means your reputation is essential part of them continuing on the buyer’s journey. Buyers look through things like reviews, blogs, social media to see what other customers are saying about you, how your products size up to the competition or how much others like you. This stage is key to converting buyers into customers. If you pass with flying colours, buyers move along in their journey and make a purchase. The key to converting buyers into customers is by making the purchasing process with your business easy. Whether you provide purchasing through your website, through online bookings, have an app, or have sales people ready to answer questions - Making the purchasing process easy and seamless is the last step to getting a buyer through your door. Once you have the sale, most businesses know that retaining customers is much more cost effective than trying to acquire new ones. Nothing new here. Businesses know that ensuring your customers have a great experience post-purchase will contribute to loyalty and future sales. But today, it doesn’t stop with loyalty. With digital, these loyal customers, or advocates, will now post and leave reviews that will effect the next person’s research.Thus contributing and affecting future sales with new buyers in their journey.
