The BSSD Pedestrian Safety Improvements Project base bid includes the following items:
Raised intersection at Mt. Rock Road/Lefever/High School Access Drive intersection.
Two Speed Humps along Mt. Rock Road.
Crosswalk with flashing warning sign system at Mt. Rock Road/Lefever/High School Access Drive intersection.
Pavement overlay of Mt. Rock Road between speed humps and raised intersection.
Sidewalk and associated accessible ramps from the crosswalk at Mt. Rock Road/Lefever/High School Access Drive intersection to the Administrative Building access drive.
Associated/required stormwater improvements (Raingarden).
Intersection lighting of Mt. Rock Road/Lefever/High School Access Drive intersection.
Four new School Speed Zone Flashing Warning Beacons at Newville Elementary School.
Four new School Speed Zone Flashing Warning Beacons at Mt. Rock Campus.
Network system to remotely control new school signals.

Two Flashing warning signs for Oak Flat Elementary School to replace existing.
Alternate 2 includes:
Replace three existing School Speed Zone Flashing Warning Beacons at Mt. Rock Campus.
Replace existing School Bus Crossing Flashing Warning Beacons at High School access drive.
Alternate 3 includes:
Sidewalk and associated accessible ramps from the Administrative Building access drive to the Big Spring Middle School (Replaces existing 3 foot wide sidewalk).
