5. 1. The preexistent, all powerful God, creates all matter, space, and time out of nothing:

8. 3. God blesses the first male and female, gives them dominion over creation, and proclaims the goodness of his creation: Genesis 1:28-31

14. 6. The man names the woman Genesis 2:23
The man said, "This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh; she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man."

17. 8. Satan, as the serpent, convinces Eve and Adam to disobey God's commands to not eat of the tree. In doing so, God's design for men and women is changed dramatically. Their roles are corrupted because of this original sin Genesis 3:1-6
Now the serpent was more crafty than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said to the woman, "Indeed, has God said, 'You shall not eat from any tree of the garden'?" The woman said to the serpent, "From the fruit of the trees of the garden we may eat; but from the fruit of the tree which is in the middle of the garden, God has said, 'You shall not eat from it or touch it, or you will die."' The serpent said to the woman, "You surely will not die! For God knows that in the day you eat from it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil." When the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was a delight to the eyes, and that the tree was desirable to make one wise,
she took from its fruit and ate; and she gave also to her husband with her, and he ate.

18. 9. Because of their disobedience and Adam's role as leader, God calls Adam to account first, not Eve.

Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together and made themselves loin coverings. They heard the sound of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and the man and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the LORD God among the trees of the garden. Then the LORD God called to the man, and said to him, "Where are you?"

22. 11. Because of his disobedience, the man must work an earth that works against him. He will also exchange his sinless nature for a nature that will rule harshly over his wife:

And to Adam he said, “Because you have listened to the voice of your wife and have eaten of the tree of which I commanded yo, ‘You shall not eat of it,’ cursed is the ground because of you; in pain you shall eat of it all the days of your life; thorns and thistles it shall bring forth for you; and you shall eat the plants of the field. By the sweat of your face you shall eat bread, till you return to the ground, for out of it you were taken; for you are dust, and to dust you shall return.”
Genesis 3:16b
Your desire shall be for your husband, and he shall rule over you.”

23. Genesis 3:20-21
The man called his wife's name Eve, because she was the mother of all living. And the LORD God made for Adam and for his wife garments of skins and clothed them.

24. Genesis 3:20-24
Then the LORD God said, “Behold, the man has become like one of us in knowing good and evil. Now, lest he reach out his hand and take also of the tree of life and eat, and live forever—” therefore the LORD God sent him out from the garden of Eden to work the ground from which he was taken. He drove out the man, and at the east of the garden of Eden he placed the cherubim and a flaming sword that turned every way to guard the way to the tree of life.
