Of particular interest are contributions discussing any of the following (or similar) topics: What communications applications, including needed infrastructure, might use THz? What technology would address THz? how are transmitters, receivers, and antennas realized? What is the coverage range and possible bit rates? What is the regulatory status? When is this going to happen in the market? Will there be a standards effort and when? What is the current research status? Who is doing the research? To include the identification of existing and emerging non-communication THz applications and other interfering sources. How is receiver sensitivity measured and what is a realistic value? What is a realistic transmitter power value now and what is the prediction 5 to 10 years from now due to technology evolution? Are there interoperability and standards with other high bandwidth interfaces? (i.e. Fiber optics). What are the passive scientific bands and where are they.
