Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.

14. We are to use the Word in a way that impacts others in the Body.
Few things impact the soul like music!
We can’t honor the Word without being true to the Word.

It is interesting that the man God describes as one after His heart is also the man who wrote most of what has become the longest book of the Bible.

For example, there is only one NT reference to hands being raised and it’s in prayer.
Worship, certainly prayer, was in a variety of physical postures.
