16 Important points for information of School Heads/ Principles.
Grants for different activities such as civil works, school grants and repair & maintenance grant etc. are released from State Head quarter to DEOs and by DEOs to School Principals. Bank accounts for SSA grants should be separately maintained. The grants are to be used for the school by School Management Committees. The grant should be used for the purpose for which it has been released and within the given timeline.

17 After utilization of grant UC may be sent to DEOs.
Before utilization of grant proper resolution may be passed by SMC in which all the details for utilization of grants may be given. All the works may be carried out/ executed by SMCs. Accounts may be maintained, cash books may be regularly updated, bank accounts may be reconciled and stock registers may be adequately maintained. Financial rules may be adequately followed by SMC for procurement of goods, carrying out all the works and for releasing the due payments.

18 Special Emphasis As all of you are aware the annual work plan and budget for centrally sponsored schemes like SSA,RMSA and Mid-Day-Meal etc. is based on the UDISE data for every year. The reference date for UDISE is 30th September. All the school principals/heads should ensure thorough correctness of the UDISE data. In-correct entry, if any, will affect the whole planning owing to which desired objectives will not be met and the purpose of the schemes will get defeated.
