Task Sequences Nested (child) task sequences
This is great for when you want to build task sequences for things other than OSD. Examples would be the Autodesk suite. Build a task sequence that installs Autocad, Inventor, Revit, etc…. Maybe a script that removes desktop shortcuts? Maybe reboots in between each application? Candoris | Confidential | 2018
10
Pending Restart This is one of the many new columns added recently to devices and device collections. Look for other new columns to be coming soon like currently logged in user. Candoris | Confidential | 2018
11
Scripts This was introduced in 1706 as a pre-release feature. As of the 1802 release it’s no longer considered pre-release Ref: Allows for parameters to be used, and within parameters you can add regex to control the input Example: Collect client logs: The client downloads the script locally in C:\Windows\CCM\ScriptStore Log file for the script will be located in C:\Windows\CCM\logs\Scipts.log Server side – BGBServer.log Candoris | Confidential | 2018
