3. Shortcut to Notepad
Notepad is a text editor…like a word processor that can’t do bold, underline, change font…
We will use it to create web pages (HTML-Hypertext Markup Language)
Click Start button
Select All Programs
Select/Find Accessories>Notepad…don’t run the program, just right-mouse and drag it to the desktop…say to create shortcuts here
(Note: To run Notepad in Windows 10, use windows key + R , stands for Run; type notepad

4. Shortcut to class web site (schedule)
Open the class Web site in IE (or chrome, or firefox)
Use the left mouse button and click and drag the “e” in the address bar to your desktop
Say to create a link (shortcut) on your desktop

Do NOT save files to C: drive

Place anything you want to be seen, and accessed, by anyone via Web.
Don’t modify, delete pub
