To create a single point of access to NPA transactions and information for all Stakeholders The focus is to improve cargo flow and planning processes, especially marine operational efficiencies in the ports of South Africa.

EDI Messages Message Purpose IFTSAI IFTDGN CUSCAR CARGO DUES
This EDI Message contains all information related to a vessel that arrives at the port e.g. Vessel Name, Voyage Number, Vessel Call Sign. This critical data will be utilized to generate an arrival number. IFTDGN This message contains all information related to dangerous goods that will be transported, loaded and/or discharged at any South African Port. The information provided will provide details needed to ensure the overall safety of the port system. CUSCAR This EDI message contains all information related to commodities loaded or discharged in any South African port, and will be utilized for collation and statistics. CARGO DUES (Custom XML) This message would contain all the information that NPA requires for cargo that will be handled and triggers the billing/invoicing process. INVOIC This message contains invoice information.
