Confessions Not an expert One site visit under current standards Currently working on PCCs year 3 – with a highly talented team I am a Hemingway to a fault I have a background in information design Have been on many grants & scholarships committees

Food for thought Were all in this together Writing style is more concise than previous process - call on your Hemingways to help with style – but rely on the Prousts for detail Think of the visiting team as a team of grant reviewers After Proust there are certain things that simply cannot be done again. Francoise Sagan I think that Hemingway made real discoveries about the use of language in his first novel, … I admired the way he made drunk people talk. Evelyn Waugh
