2. Black Spot
Disease indicated by the presence of black spots on the leaves or fruit
Common on roses

3. Chlorosis Disorder caused by a lack of nitrogen or iron
General yellowing of the leaves and stems

4. Damping Off Seedlings rot at soil level and fall over
Look for fungal hyphae (white stuff) on the stems near the soil

5. Fireblight
Disease causing the leaves to look as if they have been burned

6. Powdery Mildew Shows up on leaves as a mass of fungal hyphae
Looks soft and fuzzy on vegetables
Also affects turfgrass

7. Root Rot Disease that causes roots to rot off the plant
Common in wet soils
Entire plant wilts and dies

8. Rust
Many types, most show as brown-yellow (rust-colored) spots on leaves and fruits
Can cause weird growths on plants
