Student New Features Standards Gradebook – Point Based Grading Scales
When these options are used, the Grade Mark Groups would allow for a point based scale to be entered rather than a percentage based scale. An example of this would be: E – 4.00 to 3.50, S – 3.49 to 3.00, N – 2.99 to 2.50, U – 2.49 to 0.00

Student New Features Standards Gradebook – Decaying Average
The Decaying Average is a type of Mastery Level Calculation for Standards-Based Grading that puts more weight on the most recent score. The Decaying Average formula recognizes that the most recent score is more representative of the student's current mastery level and thus puts more weight on that score (as opposed to a straight average that counts the student's first work and most recent work as equally important). On the other hand, it also recognizes that past work might be relevant; it is still part of the whole picture (as opposed to the Most Recent formula which only counts the most recent score).

Student New Features Cumulative Grading
The Use Cumulative Grading in Gradebook option has been added to the Course Length screen. This option is used to make all Grade Buckets begin at the start of the class or the start of the semester. This new option will apply to both Secondary and Standards Gradebooks.

Student New Features Standards Gradebook – Academic Standards
– Academic Standards/Benchmarks can be tied to Events in the Standards Gradebook. Previously this was only allowed when total point calculations were used but now works for all calculation setups.

Student New Features Gradebook – New Year Clones
– Each of the New Year Clones were updated so they could be run for specific entities only or all at once. Previously these only ran for the entire district at once.

Student New Features Gradebook District Setup – Non-gender Specific Option added for Student Information – A non-gender specific icon was added for EA+. The option is located within the Gradebook District Setup.

Student New Features Posting Utility
– Added the ability to setup templates, designate students/gradebook type to run for, and what specific grade buckets to post or recalculate for. This can be done without having to change grading period dates.

Student New Features Family Access – Missing Assignments for Current Classes – An option was added to only show Missing Assignments in Family/Student Access for current classes (not grading period specific).

Student New Features Graduation Requirements – Details Screen
– A Grad Req Details area was added similar to the GPA Details screen that previously existed. This will allow a user to view why credits were applied or not applied to each requirement area for each course.

– An option was added to print Elective, Required, or Both courses when verifying student course requests.

Student New Features Future Scheduling – Student Conflict Report
– The ability to only display certain courses was added to the report so quicker and easier analysis could be done of conflicts and those courses that may need to be adjusted in the master schedule. After making a pseudo run, if you found commonalities in courses that are conflicting for students, this report will allow you to narrow down the courses you compare to identify exact students and their course conflicts.

An online form can now have a status of Complete, WIP, or Not Started. The Online Form Status browse and data mining have been updated, and auto s ( ) have been added when a guardian or student submits an online form. This new option was also added for Online Registration

Student New Features Conference Scheduler – General Staff Conferences
– General staff conference – those staff that are not linked to a class/section or student schedules. Configurable option. The Gen Con are not tied to an entity, so they can be accessed from 000.

Only those conferences that a teacher is part of will display. If Cecile was not part of a scheduling team, the Team Conference Detail would not show.

The Teacher Conferences Report has been renamed to "Conferences Report" and now has a dropdown to allow selection of the desired Report Type. The fields on the range screen are conditional based on the report type. This report can also be accessed from each conference tab (P/T, Scheduling-Team, General) in EA+ Teacher Access. Allow printing of Notes (P/T and General)

When selecting P/T Conference you can choose to include the guardians that Attended the conference. There is also an option to print attendance totals at the end of the report that will display how many conferences are available for each class within the entity, how many were reserved by a guardian, and how many had a guardian attend

The Students Not Signed Up for Conferences report now includes a selection for general staff conference attendees who have not signed up. In order to report who did not sign up for Gen. Conferences – All Topics now require Availability Groups * Add Classes button is available for P/T Conferences

When selecting ‘General Staff Conferences’ users will select ‘Add Topics’. When you change Report types, a warning message will appear informing the user that the selected codes under the prior settings will be cleared, as well as the layout. Users can proceed – or go back.

The Mass Add Conferences areas (utility/EA+/Staff Browse) now include the option to add a buffer time between conferences The Building and/or Room on the teacher's Staff Entity record can be assigned to the created conferences

When a staff member is selected, their conflicting timeslots are displayed (if there are any). It is not shown what exactly the conferences are (that information is left private). It will be up to the invited staff member to decide if they want to accept this invitation and move their conflicting timeslots. The invited staff member will receive an invite and can choose to Accept, Decline, or mark Tentative

Special Education – Reevaluation Dates Before After The Special Education Configuration now provides additional options for the default value of the Evaluation Start Date when adding a Reevaluation record to a student

When given security access, My RtI Students browse list will be available in EA+ Teacher Access. A My RtI Students widget was also added to Educator Access Plus Home. The widget will need to be enabled in the District Widget Selection in SkyPort setup to be available for users to add to their widget selections

A new checkbox has been added to Absence Types to allow an overwrite by Positive Attendance. When this checkbox is checked for an Absence Type, existing attendance can be overwritten by entry from Positive Attendance and PASS

For absence codes that do not have the checkbox checked, student will still be checked into the location, but their attendance will not be overwritten.

Data Mining Notes can be viewed from the details area of Report Information, from the Report Information Maintenance screen, and can be cloned.

– An option to filter reports by Proc List was added to the common student range screen. This will show on all reports/utilities that utilize this screen. This will be in addition to the other ranges, so if you have your ranges set for grades 12 to 12, only those students from the selected processing list will print. Reports/utilities will also be quicker to process.
