“Chancellor’s Office is announcing the first phase of the California Community Colleges Guided Pathways endeavor.
This effort will be formally supported by the Guided Pathways Award Program, in which all participating colleges will receive fiscal allocations over the five-year period specified in legislation to accomplish this important work.”

14. IT Technician Pathway – Cyber Security
A tool for students, counselors, and administrators
Help students find the training they need to earn valuable IT industry certifications and quickly get IT- related jobs.
After taking just a few courses, students are prepared to gain entry-level certifications and move into entry-level IT jobs, such as “Computer Retail Sales”
Students can build on these skills by taking additional courses, gain higher level industry certifications, and move into better paying, higher-level IT jobs
Opens the door for students who have not been successful in tradition 2-year and 4-year programs
