Our Students about Public Health studies at LUHS
We had a splendid experience pursuing our Master‘s degree in Public Health in the Lithuanian University of Health Sciences. Being Health care professionals concerned with Dentistry in India we gained a wider perspective when it came to health in a community level, planning for Public Health related programs in the rural and urban sector to address dental problems to public and plan innovative measures to tackle various issues in such a way that the general population receives treatment equally. In the research level we got educated in the field of Epidemiology, Statistics and many such related subjects which are helping us in designing our research programs and publications. Most of all we feel it very prestigious to mention that we studied under very well experienced and renowned faculty. We are grateful to the University for having been selected for the Erasmus exchange program when we were sent to the University of Tampere, Finland, to have a completely different experience altogether. Shilpa and Prashant from India
