Generator updates their component registry and electronically transmits the shipment to DOD Registry, and DLA Component Registry with MILSTRIP Transaction Code of S = SHIP TRANS 2 1 Prior to shipping, Generator will contact DLA Disposition Services Central Demil Division (CDD) Anniston, AL (DODAAC SYD184) Coordinate Shipment 1 Generator ships the small arm(s) with DTID (IRRD), LOA, Inert Cert, and List of Serial Numbers/Unique Item Identifiers (UII). For Partial/incomplete items, include list of missing parts. Ref DOD M, CH4. 3 REUT/FMS/DESTROY CDD physically inspects weapon to sight verify serial number matches DTID/IRRD and serial number list. The small arm weapon(s) is accepted at the CDD and the Turn-in process is complete 4 POC: Sandy Young, x7259 Documentation required with turn in Issue Receipt Release Document (DD 1348) Inert Certification Letter of Authorization List of weapon serial numbers Resources/Tools Used to do Job CDD WEAPONS STAFF/DLIS-LAR Programmers/J6 FLIS DOD Small Arms/Light Weapons Registry DLA SASP Registry USAMC Logistics Support Agency Defense Logistics Management Support Office 6 CDD Receives & inputs the weapon serial number(s) into the DLA Component registry. Transactions are sent to the service registry, and DOD Registry. Information matches and documentation is accurate and complete CDD generates an SDR, and contacts turn in activity for resolution. 5 YES NO R = RECEIPT TRANS
