What We Do… ADVOCATE We take a leadership role in disseminating scientific data to help drive policy Second-annual State of the Waters Workshop in Merrimack, N.H.

What We Do… EDUCATE We partner with local schools to teach river conservation curriculum Students at the Bagnall School work on a Merrimack River project

What We Do… EDUCATE We provide internships to college students in environmental studies Student interns working at the MRWC office

What We Do… EDUCATE We take part in lectures and events to educate the public about the Merrimack River watershed Earth Day Parade in Lowell

We organize volunteers to clean up the river and remove invasive plant species Volunteers taking water quality samples

We plant trees along vulnerable riverbanks to stem erosion and runoff
