This equals 1.33 years of school missed! 1500 GIRLS WITHOUT SANITARYWARE Miss 7500 days in a month 67,500 days of a 9 month school year 540,000 days of 8 years of school between the time their menses commence to the time they complete their tertiary education. This equals to 2000 years of academic hours lost! This is a sample of a population of over 100,000 girls who miss school because of lack of hygiene pads!
