Average atmospheric conditions over a long period of time.
Low Air Pressure
Less air is pressing on the Earth’s surface.
High Air Pressure
More air is pressing down on the Earth’s surface.
Air Mass
A large block of air with particular characteristics.
Altitude
The height of an object or point in relation to sea level or ground level.
Wind Speed
The speed of the wind.
Precipitation
Includes rainfall/snowfall/sleet/hail.
Temperature
How hot or cold the air is.
Meteorologist
A scientist who specialises in studying the weather.
Depression
A system of low air pressure.
