2 ASFINAG since 1997 reestablishment of a network concessionaire as a motorway concession company ASFINAG „new“ ASFINAG purchased the usus fructus (= right for toll collection) on motorways and expressways for 5,7 billions € from the Republic of Austria. tasks: Greenfield and Brownfield construction, operation / maintenance and financing of the Austrian network of motorways no financial benefits from the state budget legal form: private limited company owner: Republic of Austria 100 % state guarantee for the bonds of ASFINAG
