Our Mission FBLA-PBL inspires and prepares students to become community-minded business leaders in a global society through relevant career preparation and leadership experiences.

FBLA is one of NINE Career and Technical Student Organizations (CTSOs)
The United States Department of Education recognizes the educational programs and philosophies embraced by the career and technical student organizations as being an INTEGRAL part of vocational and technical education instructional programs.

WHO WE ARE Members of the student organization, Future Business Leaders of America-Phi Beta Lambda Oldest & largest business student association Students preparing for business & leadership careers

Where We Live We are 250,000 strong in more than 6,200 chapters throughout the United States, DODDS Europe, Guam, Puerto Rico, Bahamas, Bermuda, the Virgin Islands, China, and Canada. We are busy right now, taking the steps necessary to enter the world of business.

Where We Are Located We are located in middle schools, high schools, and career centers. We are eager to learn all we can.

FBLA Goals Strengthening the confidence of students in themselves and their work Developing competent, aggressive business leadership Developing character, preparing for useful citizenship, and fostering patriotism Assisting students in the establishment of occupational goals

FBLA Goals continued… Creating more interest in and understanding of American business enterprise Encouraging members in the development of individual projects that contribute to the improvement of home, business, and community Facilitating the transition from school to work Encouraging scholarship and promoting school loyalty Encouraging and practicing efficient money management

Activities Engage in cooperative efforts with local Chambers of Commerce Invite local businesspeople to speak at chapter meetings Offer member services to act as guides for business events Go on field trips to local businesses and colleges Sponsor a career fair Participate in a Partnership with Business Project
