VALUE IN KIND |
Sponsors who make an in-kind donation will receive benefits based on the regular retail value of goods or services provided. In-kind donations can either be directly related to the needs of our League (e.g., equipment rental, field supplies, etc) or can be used for fundraising efforts (e.g. raffles, silent auction, etc.).

4. ABOUT US ABOUT US ACCOMPLISHMENTS
We are a non-profit organization that relies extensively on volunteers to operate baseball programs for approximately 400 children
We have operated continuously since 1953 providing community-based baseball for boys and girls aged 4 to 12
HCLL is a member of District 6 in BC Little League which has more than 12,000 youth participating in 6 districts across BC each year
We will celebrate on Opening Day, April 6th, 2019 at 11:00AM.
ACCOMPLISHMENTS
11-12 year old Canadian Little League Champions 2009, 2012 and 2016.
Represented Canada at the Little League World Series in Williamsport Pennsylvania in 2009, 2012 and 2016.
Hosted the Canadian Little League Championships 2016.
Numerous District and Provincial Championships at Rookie, Minor and Major Levels.

5. HOW DO WE SPEND YOUR SPONSORSHIP MONEY
UNIFORMS – Each participant receives a full baseball uniform. At the end of the season they keep their cap and socks.
EQUIPMENT – Each year we purchase hundreds of baseballs. We also have bats, catchers equipment, practice equipment for each team, scorebooks and first aid kits.
UMPIRES – Our umpires consist almost entirely of senior or ex-Hastings Little Leaguers that have taken their umpiring certification and continue to give back to the club. They receive a modest stipend for each game.
GROUNDS – All activities are performed by club volunteers but aerating, top-dressing, in-field clay, pitching mould clay, line-marking are some of the costs we incur through out the season.

6. LOOKING AT OUR 2019 SEASON
Once again we look forward to developing over 400 young athletes from the Burnaby and East Vancouver regions.
Host the Fred Ritchie Memorial Tournament for Minor age All-Stars (9-10 year olds).
We will be launching our new website to enable us to better communicate with the Hastings Little League families and better recognize our sponsorship partners.
