2. Who We Are The Board of Child Care is a nonprofit human services organization serving children and families in Maryland, West Virginia and the District of Columbia as an outreach ministry of the United Methodist Church.

3. Our Vision To be a community of hope: providing an opportunity to heal, and a safe and caring environment for children, youth and families.

4. Core Values SERVICE Skilled staff deliver multi-tiered services to meet the needs of children affected by poverty, abuse, neglect and developmental difficulties. FAITH BCCs strong historical ties and legacy for spiritual expression are reflected in the work of the staff, Board of Directors and volunteers. LEADERSHIP BCC is blessed with talented leaders and staff who create a rich environment to provide the best care for children and families. EXCELLENCE BCC meets the highest standards of service delivery to children and families through accreditation from the Educational Assessment Guidelines Leading toward Excellence (EAGLE).

5. Commitment to Faith BCC has remained faithful to its Methodist roots, serving the Baltimore- Washington and Peninsula- Delaware Conferences. Across the agency, children participate in spiritual life activities to enrich personal growth and provide comfort.

6. Our Residential Care Program The Board of Child Cares largest program is residential care for children and youth referred by state agencies. The program focuses on treatment and engaging experiences for youth within a structured campus setting.

13. Location: Eastern Shore Campus SERVICES: Residential Care

14. Community-Based Group Homes in Maryland LOCATIONS: Baltimore, Anne Arundel, Montgomery, Washington, Charles and Calvert counties

15. Our Volunteers: The Auxiliary Since 1953, the Auxiliary has served as an independent volunteer organization for BCC. More than 3,000 Auxiliary members act as extended family members for BCCs children, providing love and support at the holidays, on birthdays and during summer breaks. Thank you Auxiliary!
