Summary: Wear results observed for SureFil High Density Posterior Restorative were minimal, and well within the acceptable range of 50 microns per year. SureFil restorations showed satisfactory values in all categories using Cvar and Ryge criteria.

Summary: At 3 years, we can state that SureFil is an efficient and safe material for use in Class II restorations on permanent premolars and molars.

21 Patients; 37 Restorations; (% alpha—highest rating): Retention (100%), Sensitivity (97%), Color Match (95%), Marginal Adaptation (86%), Marginal Discoloration (73%),Secondary Caries (92%), Occlusal Wear (89%), Surface texture (89%), Proximal Contact (97%), Functional Occlusion (97%), Axial contour (97%) Fracture Resistance (98%).
Summary: SureFil restorative was esthetic and user-friendly. The restorations demonstrated very good clinical performance at 5 years and continued to pass both the 1989 and 2001 ADA guidelines for composite use as an “unconditional” amalgam-replacement material.

Summary: Condensable light cured composite (SureFil) continued to demonstrate excellent clinical performance after 5 years.
