7 Ordering Modems GAS FTTN HSA
Modems are available via the Bell Business Portal as either a bulk purchase order or individual purchase or rental when placed simultaneously with the GAS FTTN order Effective August 2013, the portal restriction which requires you to either order Sagemcom modems or enter the serial number of your Sagemcom modems for VDSL orders has been removed HSA For HSA service, ISPs can use their own CPE modems or rent a Bell provided modem by selecting “Contracted” when placing an HSA 6 Mbps order

8 Bulk Modem Orders Click the Bulk Modem Order link at the bottom of the navigator panel to: Create a new bulk order (click on the Go button) Swap a defective modem previously purchased via a bulk order Return a modem previously purchased via a bulk order If the Bulk Order delivery status is still in the Shipped status but the modems have been delivered, call Bell Wholesale Customer Service at

9 Modem Tracking Modem information section
This section of the order provides modem tracking information for single purchased modems (i.e. modems not purchased in bulk), including the serial number and specific delivery statuses such as Shipped, At Depot, Delivered, etc. Use this section to track the delivery of your modem using the tracking number on the order in this modem information section

10 Modem Notification If an ordered modem has not been delivered by the due date it will appear in the Assigned queue in addition to the Orders Requiring Attention queue The following message will appear on the order: “Due date missed due to late modem delivery” Actions required by the ISP will vary depending upon the modem delivery status which may indicate Shipped, At Depot, Returned, No info, etc. In some cases it may be necessary to contact Bell Wholesale Customer Service at

11 Modem Return / Swap - GAS
If you are returning a modem, the serial number of the modem returned must match the serial number recorded on the order Purchased modems can be returned within 30 days of delivery via a Change order Rented modems can be returned at any time via a Change order Defective Modem Swap If the Bell-supplied modem is not received in time for the installation, or is determined defective by the Bell technician: ISP may request a revisit by a Bell technician Create a “Change” order in HOTS Select “Yes” for “Configure Bell supplied modem” There is no additional or DMC charge for the revisit to install and power up a Bell-supplied modem in this case ISPs are accountable to swap out the defective modem via HOTS Returns kits and swapped modems will be sent to the shipping address indicated on the order unless modified

12 Modem Return / Swap - HSA
HSA modem return processes and training documentation can be found on the Bell Business Portal under Service Provider Support / Customer Training HSA modems are returned by requesting a return kit online
