Space out your study period over at least a week, if not more!! Get a Goodnights rest before the test! Exercise for a few days (but don’t overdue it) Chew Gum if your teacher lets you

EXAM DAY WHAT SHOULD YOU BRING WITH YOU? Sweater/sweatshirt
Several sharpened #2 pencils (MC) Watch (no cell phones, iPods, etc.) Snack, drink, any medication that you made need YOUR BOOK NEEDS TO BE BACK TO ME BY TODAY… I PUT IN FINES STARTING THE FRIST WEEK OF THE SECOND SEMESTER!!!

Book bags, brief cases, etc. Any books Compasses, white-out, highlighters, rulers, scratch paper, etc. Electronic devices Food/drink is not allowed while taking the test!

Dress comfortably Show up to the testing site early Lighten up a bit! Follow all directions given by the test supervisor

If you don't understand the directions on the test, ask the Administrator to explain it to you.

Skim through the test so that you have a good idea how to pace yourself.

Write down facts, definitions and/or keywords in the margin first so you won't worry about forgetting them.

Do the simple questions first to help build up your confidence for the harder questions.

If you don't know an answer to a question skip it for the time being (come back to it later if you have time), and remember that you don't have to always get every question right to do well on the test.

Focus on the question at hand
Focus on the question at hand. Don't let your mind wander on other things.

Think Historically! This is a History test not an English or Math test. People, Places, and Connecting events/concepts are important.

Don't worry about how fast other people finish their test; just concentrate on your own test.
