2 Reworked Mission Statement + Problem-Solution Overview
Momental: find support the moment you need it Problem: Students on campuses often struggle with issues in their mental and emotional health and unfortunately have a difficult time connecting with the resources on campus due to barriers of time availability, feeling overwhelmed, feelings of imposition, or simply not knowing who they can talk to. Solution: Momental will increase the availability of mental health resources and the ease the process of meeting with them by allowing students to see all the resources available to them and schedule to meet with them at the click of a button. Students on campuses often struggle with issues in their mental and emotional health and unfortunately have a difficult time connecting with the resources on campus due to barriers of time availability, feeling overwhelmed, feelings of imposing, or not knowing who they can talk to. We are designing an application that will increase the availability of mental health resources and the ease the process of meeting with them by allowing students to see all the resources available to them and schedule to meet with them at the click of a button.

3 I want to talk to someone now.
complex I want to talk to someone specific. medium I want to follow-up on a previous conversation. simple We did not change our tasks. We felt like they are clear and define well the important things we want users to be able to accomplish using our app

4 Major Design Changes Allow users to view information about match within match screen Changes in wording to make use cases and actions more clear and identifiable Reduced emphasis on booking within “scheduler” Easily accessible area for the user to view their appointments, staff, and recents Based on the feedback we received last week we made a couple of major design changes. First, we allowed users to view info about match within the match screen. We did this because a lot of users were looking at the matches profile to vet them. So rather than taking them to a whole new screen, we put the bio within the match screen to increase the apps usability and help users from getting lost within the app, especially since you can take many actions from the profile screen.

6 Major Design Changes Allow users to view information about match within match screen Changes in wording to make use cases and actions more clear and identifiable Reduced emphasis on booking within “scheduler” Easily accessible area for the user to view their appointments, staff, and recents Second, we reduced the emphasis on booking within the scheduling screens. In our testing, we prompted users to “See when Sam was available”, however the task ended with many setting up an appointment when viewing her schedule. So we wanted to change this so that the use case of just viewing a schedule wouldn’t make users feel the need to book appointments

7 Before After liked the swiping but the match screen is confusing with profile didn’t type into search bar pressure to book

8 Major Design Changes Allow users to view information about match within match screen Changes in wording to make use cases and actions more clear and identifiable Reduced emphasis on booking within “scheduler” Easily accessible area for the user to view their appointments, staff, and recents Third, we added an area within the app for users to view information relevant to them: appointments, staff, recents. We had a lot of feedback and thought within our team that this information is relevant and necessary for our users to be able to use the application.

9 Before After No Screen liked the swiping but the match screen is confusing with profile didn’t type into search bar pressure to book

10 Medium Fi-Prototype proto.io pros:
easy to do interactions and transitions. There were great copy and paste features. You were able to have different screen states and also use containers if you had reused UI that you wanted to put in many places. cons: took a long time because of all the functionality and the layout of the website. It also messed up some of our prototypes and we had to go back and fix them.

11 Medium Fi-Prototype Pros: easy to use. low learning curve
had use of gestures very easy to constantly test and iterate on design Good-looking results Cons: confusing when to use what features so much functionality, can easily get lost within the application limitations to collaboration pros: easy to do interactions and transitions. There were great copy and paste features: interactions, whole screens, between projects. You were able to have different screen states and also use containers if you had reused UI that you wanted to put in many places. cons: took a long time because of all the functionality and the layout of the website. It also messed up some of our prototypes and we had to go back and fix them. You cant have multiple people working on the same project, and can’t really do anything in the project within 30 minutes of someone using it with/out the risk of losing data. So had to work in separate projects and then copy screens to the master project.

12 Limitations + Hard-Coded Features
Not all the tab buttons are linked, so users could get stuck on a page if not following tasks Cannot search for whatever you want No ability to save data + limited content Hard-Coded Features Searching “Contacts”/“Matches” in the system + which one to click on Schedule dates and booking a meeting in the scheduler no ability to save data: If you star a contact, the app won’t save that or if you book a meeting, it won’t show up in your meetings or not allow you to book again.
